Along with their latest cameras and printers at CES, Canon has launched a new device which allows users to easily transfer photos between a Canon camera and the new Connect Station using NFC.

The Connect Station uses NFC to communicate to a compatible camera. The idea of the Connect Station is to help photographers store all of their photos into one place and view them on a TV using HDMI, it is also capable of allowing tablets and smartphones to connect to it wirelessly to view the stored photos.

While the Connect Station is connected to a TV, it can be controlled with the included infrared remote control.

The Canon Connect Station CS100 will be available in June for £199/$299.
