Subscriptions are now getting more family orientated day by day, when Apple Music launched everyone was talking about the great deal it was for families up to six, at £9.99 for one person and then £14.99 for six people that makes that service more compelling for families than anything else. Amazon is making a similar move with Prime. As part of that subscription, families who use the household sharing feature will be able to use the Amazon Cloud Drive with unlimited photo storage with the whole family, each with their own drive.

Amazon Cloud Drive stores photos in full resolution, although when backing up photos it’s best to use a variety of services such as iCloud Photo Library if you have an iPhone as well as Google Photos, OneDrive, Dropbox, Box and more. Another service which may be useful is Flickr as it offers 1TB of storage for free.
