BritBox, the streaming service from the BBC and ITV has now been loaded with all of the classic Doctor Who episodes, all 558 episodes. From Boxing Day earlier this week, the show was made available.

“BritBox becoming the first complete digital home of Doctor Who Classic creates a special opportunity for fans and streamers across the UK. We are looking forward to expanding the collection even further by working with the show creators to lovingly restore lost and previously unavailable episodes in the months to come and offering a truly exclusive experience.”

Reemah Sakaan, Group Director ITV SVOD

The BBC is also looking to make BritBox the home for all of the Doctor Who Classic content, making sure the quality is kept up. Back in 2017, when BritBox launched in the US, it was made the home for all of the classic Doctor Who content, and now here in the UK too.

“It’s thrilling to partner with BritBox and see all this amazing Doctor Who Classic content congregate in one place where subscribers can stream to their hearts’ content – some experiencing the show for the first time whilst others will simply be enjoying it all over again.”

Sally de St Croix, Franchise Director for Doctor Who at BBC Studios

BritBox is a new streaming service here in the UK, it launched in July 2019 and is £5.99 per month. Apps are on iOS, Apple TV and Android.
