Spotify is raising prices in the UK, Europe and the US. Not by much, around $1 / £1 on each plan and current subscribers have already started to receive emails notifying them of the changes. Spotify isn’t increasing the prices of the single user plan, which is £9.99 / $9.99 but every other plan is being changed.

In the US, the Family plan is jumping from $14.99 to $15.99, making it more expensive than Apple Music and thats it. Every other plan it offers won’t be changed, Duo, Premium and Student. However, here in the UK and Europe Spotify is making more changes.

Here in the UK, all plans apart from the single user are getting more expensive. The Student plan is jumping from £4.99 to £5.99 a month and Dup is going from £12.99 to £13.99. Family is going up the most, from £14.99 to £16.99 – again more than Apple Music now.

In Europe, the Student plan is jumping from €4.99 to €5.99 a month, Duo is going from €11.99 to €12.99 and Family is going up from €14.99 to €17.99.

Spotify is offering a one month buffer, between increasing the prices to give current users time to evaluate and prices will then come into play in June.
