Volkswagen has recently launched the cheapest all-wheel-drive electric car in the US this month, with the ID.4 AWD Pro which comes in at $36,175 after the government incentives in the country. The ID.4 launched here in the UK and Europe last year and then earlier this year in the US, with the First Edition ID.4 which has only been rear wheel drive.

The company is now expanding the line up with the new four wheel drive version, offering better towing and better traction. The ID.4 AWD Pro also gets between 240 and 249 miles of range too.

VW is now taking reservations for the ID.4 AWD Pro, with the first cars to be with dealers in the fourth quarter of 2021.
