The VW Group is getting itself ready for the electric future, Volkswagen itself now has the ID.3 hatchback and ID.4 SUV, as well as the e-up! city car and now Audi is getting ready with its most recent announcement.
Audi has announced that its last new combustion based car will launch in 2026 and then come 2033 the company will only be launching electric cars going forward. Audi boss, Markus Duesmann spoke at a Climate Neutrality Foundation conference to announce this.

This change will affect the whole world where Audi sells its cars, after 2026 the company will be phasing its combustion models out. Currently the company has a handful of models, the E-tron SUV, E-tron GT saloon and the Q4 E-tron smaller SUV.
