Apple has taken the decision this week to close some of its stores across the US and Canada, due to an increase in COVID-19 cases over the past weeks. Apple has closed eight of its locations temporarily as it manages the spike in new cases. According to Bloomberg, Apple will close a real location if 10% of its employees have tested positive for COVID-19.

The following locations in Canada and US have been closed since Tuesday this week:

  • Dadeland in Miami
  • The Gardens Mall in Palm Beach
  • Lenox Square in Atlanta
  • Cumberland Mall in Atlanta
  • Highland Village in Houston
  • Summit Mall in Ohio
