Apple earlier this week has released a new update to watchOS for the Apple Watch, with watchOS ‌8.5. Yesterday, Apple also released iOS 15.4, macOS 12.3 as well as more. watchOS ‌8.5 comes around two months after the release of watchOS 8.4 and brings four new improvements.

watchOS ‌8.5 can be installed on a compatible Apple Watch (Series 3 and later) and can be started via the Apple Watch app on the iPhone. This can be done by going to General > Software Update. It must be mentioned, your Apple Watch needs 50% battery or more and it needs to be on its charger too in order to complete the update.

watchOS 8.5 brings the same new emoji as iOS 15.4 brought, including bubbles, melting face and more. Apple will also now let you approve purchase and subscriptions from the Apple TV directly on your Watch as well as updating the irregular heart rhythm notifications to be more reliable.
