Volvo has announced this week that it is now offering over the air software updates for every model in its range, including the XC90, S60 and V60 and XC40. All of the combustion and electric vehicles the company offers are included in this. The XC40 was the first model to have over the air software updates so Volvo is extended this to rest of its range.

This week, the latest update went out and was pushed to around 190,000 vehicles. The update brings Android Automotive OS up to date with Android 11 and brings new apps for Google Play that offer charging and parking services. Also new is energy management, climate timers and improved mobile app functionality. The cars should be able to cope better in warmer and colder environments and help the car charger better.
