For the first time in the company’s history, Peloton is increasing its subscription fees for the first time, but only for US and Canada customers at the moment. It is also reducing the prices on the hardware to help balance out the monthly price increases. the Bike, Bike+ and Tread have been reduced in price by a few $100.

Starting on the 1st June, the Peloton ‘all access’ plan will be going up by $5 per month, to $44 in the US and by $6 CAD to $55 in Canada. However, for now these are the only two regions it is going up by.

As mentioned, to help ease the price increase for new users Peloton has reduced the price of many its hardware. For example, the Bike will be dropped from $1,745 to $1,445, the Bike+ from $2,495 to $1,995 and the Tread from $2,895 down to $2,695.

Peloton hasn’t had the best of time in the past year, with its share price dropping significantly, a new CEO and the company cut 2,800 jobs.
