Citroën is going to be putting the new, limited edition My Ami Buggy on sale in France very soon. The base model is already on sale in France and the UK and the buggy variant could come here too.
Citroën revealed a concept version of the My Ami Buggy last year and the new production version – however the raised ride height of the concept has not made it to the final stages of the vehicle. On the main car, Citroën has removed the doors and replaced them with metal tubing, as well as a detachable soft-top roof.
The concept also featured chunky off road wheels, sadly these have gone and have instead been replaced with 14-inch steel wheels.
For now, Citroën is only offering the My Ami Buggy in France with only fifty units being offered. However, this doesn’t mean a UK launch is off the cards, Eurig Druce the managing director of Citroën UK has said that it could happen, if there is customer demand.
