Peugeot has recently updated the 208 and e-208 hatchbacks with some minor refreshes to the models and updated trim for 2022. Prices have not been changed for this refresh and comes just six months after the last time the company updated the 208 and e-208.

Some of the trims levels have been removed and replaced, such as the Active Premium and Allure Premium models being replaced with updated Active Premium+ and Allure Premium+ versions instead. These revised models have a bit more kit as standard, for no extra cost.

All models now get more as standard too, with tinted windows on the rear and rear side windows, automatic windscreen wipers and automatic air conditioning. The new Active Premium+ now gets some extra safety features as standard too, with lane keep assist, speed limit recognition system and a driver attention warning system.

The next trim level up is the Allure Premium+, here you get 17-inch alloy wheels, aluminium pedals and door sills as well as a 7-inch infotainment screen with support for the integrated sat-nav system.

With this model refresh, there are no changes to the engines or the electrical systems on the e-208. The e-208 has the option of either a 50kWhn battery or 100kWh battery. The larger option provides 225 miles of range.

The 208 starts at £17,155 in the UK for the Active Premium+ models.
