Jeep has this week put the all-electric Avenger SUV on sale in most of Europe, except the UK for now. The only model on sale is the range topping ‘1st Edition’ and in Germany for example, it costs €39,000 which is around £33,000 here in the UK. Jeep announced the Avenger in October and is the company’s first electric vehicle, it has a decent battery pack which it shares with other models in the Stellantis family providing good range.

While Jeep has put the ‘1st Edition’ on sale only so far, it is not yet known how much the basic entry level versions will be priced. Jeep has limited the ‘1st Edition’ to only 10,000 units so once those are allocated, the company might then share some details on the other versions. Currently, the online configurator is predicted a delivery date of between 7th July 2023 and 6th August 2023.

The Jeep Avenger has an 115 kW electric motor and a 54kWh battery pack which it shares with the other Stellantis models, such as the Peugeot e-308, e-208 and DS 3 E-Tense. The battery pack has 50.8 kWh usable capacity and range is 248 miles WLTP (400km). Charging is supported at 100kW DC and can charge from 10-80% in just thirty minutes.

The new Jeep Avenger is on sale now in Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Austria, Portugal and Poland. UK availability is likely coming soon.
