Comic Relief UK is around the corner and to celebrate Red Nose Day, former Apple designer Sir Jony Ive has designed an all new red nose for the charity. Comic Relief is an annual television show that is broadcast here in the UK and aims to use comedy to help raise money for oor and disadvantaged people around the world. The iconic red nose as been around since 1988 and this new one designed by Ive has been described by the BBC as “the most dramatic makeover since the red nose made its debut in 1988.”

To accompany the launch, Comic Relief has produced a video which has comedian Diane Morgan narrating, who described the nose as “the most perfect nose in history.”

“We’ve grown up with Comic Relief and are proud to support their remarkable work. This new and seemingly simple Red Nose has been a fabulously complex little object to design and make and has involved our entire team. We hope it brings a little moment of joy to everyone who wears one.”
