On the continent, Ionity has launched new HPC (High-Power Charging) stations on important routes in France and Italy, opening up possibilities for more EVs to be used for longer journeys. One of the new locations in France is in Mornas, and is on one of the main routes that connects Lyon with Marseille and Nice, for example.

The charging location in Mornas is now the largest charging park in Europe and has capacity for up to 350kW speeds. There is space for up to 16 electric vehicles, with absolutely zero power sharing, meaning other people charging wont cause slow downs for other users.

Two of the locations in France feature large canopies with solar panels on the roof – something that is now a legal requirement in the country for new charging locations. In Italy, Ionity has a new location at the Hampton by Hilton hotel in Fiano Romano.
