This week, Apple has started to roll out the new Apple Music Classical app for iPhone users around the world. The app has only been developed for the iPhone at this stage, with no word if the app will be developed for the iPad, tvOS and macOS. Apple has said an Android app’s coming soon.

The rollout was completed on 28th March and can be downloaded now from the App Store. Users need a standard Apple Music subscription to use it and be running iOS 15.4 or later. Apple purchased Primephonic back in 2021 and this app is based on that, with all the benefits it provided such as playlists, advanced search, composer information and much more.

Apple is also offering remastered, high resolution portraits of artists. Apple shut down Primephonic in 2021 and offered existing users six months of Apple Music for free.
