Ford CEO says Bronco 4×4 could come to Europe and UK

Ford CEO says Bronco 4×4 could come to Europe and UK

Ford CEO, Jim Farley was speaking exclusively to Auto Express this weekend at the Goodwood Revival. Farley was there racing his 1966 Ford GT40.

When Auto Express spoke to him, he said that the decision was up to Ford Europe to make a decision about whether or not to bring the Bronco over from the US. He also said that the Bronco would work in this market, considering the Defender works well in the UK and Europe.

If the Bronco would make its way over here, it might be that there would not be a right hand drive version, but Ford UK dealers might allow customers to import the left hand drive models.

Ford has sold tons of Broncos in the US, with a long waiting list now way into 2022 for the two door and four door versions. Ford offers two different engines, a 2.7-litre six cylinder with 325bhp and a 2.3-litre four cylinder with 296bhp.

Prices in the US starts at $30,000 (around £21,000)
