Over the weekend, Phil Schiller at Apple, who used to be the head of marketing seems to have deactivated his Twitter account. As of late, Schiller is responsible for the App Store and the Apple Events but he has been using his Twitter account to promote new products that the company launches. However, as many people noted – on Sunday last week, it seems the account is gone.

Schiller has had the account since November 2008 and reached over 200,000 followers in that time.

With everything happening at Twitter at the moment, it could be understood that Schiller probably doesn’t agree with what is going on. On Saturday Twitter CEO Elon Musk revealed that Donald Trump’s Twitter account although the former US president has said he wont be using it. A lot has changed at Twitter in the last few weeks, so maybe Schiller doesn’t like what is going on.

Apple CEO, Tim Cook and Apple head of services Eddy Cue have remained on Twitter. Cook is very active on the platform, but it will be interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks and months.
