After all that, Elon Musk won’t be joining the Twitter board

After all the drama, Elon Musk now won’t be joining the board of directors at Twitter. This comes a week after Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal announced on the platform that Tesla CEO Elon Musk would be joining the board after he purchased 9.2% of Twitter.

The stock that Elon acquired was worth $2.89 billion and there has not been any mention on exactly why he has decided not to join the board at Twitter. Elon Musk has been fairly public about his ideas on how the social media platform could improve, such as the edit button and giving verification checkmarks to paid Twitter Blue subscribers.

Since the news came out that Elon would not be joining the board at Twitter, he has since deleted the poll Tweet he sent about the edit button being added.
