Amazon’s food delivery service set to launch in the UK this month

Beware UK supermarkets, Amazon is set to launch it’s own food delivery service called Amazon Fresh, a service which is already well received and used in the UK. Currently the online shopping company only has one way of delivering food to customers via Amazon Pantry and as the name suggests this isn’t fresh vegetables or other food that you would expect to get from a supermarket, it’s only items that you’d find in a pantry such as tinned food etc.

Now news has come around from The Grocer reported that Amazon has already started signing up a few customers in the London area and deliveries are expected to be starting in a few weeks. Amazon Fresh is said to start delivering chilled meals from May 18th.
