Apple AirPods should ship in the “next few weeks”

Apple AirPods should ship in the “next few weeks”

Apple’s AirPods were announced back in September alongside the iPhone 7 and new Beats products, however people that are interested in purchasing these have been waiting patiently for Apple to let everyone when they are available to buy.

AirPods delayed

When the AirPods were unveiled, Apple promised a release time of late October and this was because Apple had actually delayed the launch because they didn’t believe in shipping the product if it wasn’t ready.

Now over a month later Tim Cook has replied to a customer’s email regarding the release time. A reader of MacRumors posted the comments to the website.

Customer’s comment: “Give us a release date. I really bought in to the wireless vision you painted. Now I’m stuck waiting with my EarPods but can’t charge my iPhone 7 at the same time which I need to do at work. Let us know if it’s a month or six months, because then I’ll just buy some other wireless headphones.”

Tim Cook’s response: “Thanks for your note. Sorry for the delay—we are finalizing them and I anticipate we will begin to ship over the next few weeks.”
