Apple has just released the second public beta for iOS 10 and macOS Sierra

Earlier today, Apple released the second public betas of iOS 10 and macOS Sierra and now the general public can download the second version by visiting the software update tool in Settings, providing users have already signed up to receive betas. Just yesterday Apple released the next version of the developer beta to developers for testing, the only difference with the public version is that it’s less raw and there should be less bugs.

What is new?

With the latest public beta, Apple have changed quite a few things, for starters the way the iPhone is unlocked isn’t just tied to one option, users can now go back to the iOS 9 way of unlocking by resting your finger on the Touch ID sensor, also iPhone 6s users will get haptic feedback.

With the new macOS beta, nothing new has landed – only bug fixes.

Both betas are available now.
