Apple is hosting an event on October 30th, expect new Macs and iPads

2018 isn’t over for Apple, we’ve had the event in September for the new iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone XR and the new Apple Watch Series 4 but people have been expecting new products.

When’s the event?

First things first – Apple sent out invites late last week for the event which is taking place on October 30th and for the first time in a while, its on the east coast. The event will be in Brooklyn, New York.

Apple’s event will be held in the Brooklyn Academy of Music on October 30th at 10am ET.

What should we expect?

We should be expecting new Mac models as well refreshes to existing ones. New iPad Pro models are overdue now for an update.

In a report from Bloomberg it is suggested that a new Mac mini has been in development and should make an appearance at this event next week. The current model, which is on sale was last refreshed in 2014. The Mac mini is popular with home theatres and some schools where the price of the iMac can’t be justified.

New iPad Pro models are expected too, the current models were last refreshed at WWDC 2017, where we saw the second generation iPad Pro 12.9-inch and the new iPad Pro 10.5-inch. We’re expecting bezel-less iPad models with integrated Face ID, from the iPhone X and iPhone XS.
