Apple releases iOS and iPadOS 13.2.3 with a few bug fixes

Apple has released an update for iOS and iPadOS today, in the form of 13.2.3 for both operating systems. This update is aimed at squashing more bugs that arrived with iOS 13 back in September.

How do I update?

As usual, you can update by going to Settings > General > Software Update or by using iTunes on macOS Mojave or earlier and using the Finder on macOS Catalina.

What has been fixed?

Certain issues with Mail not fetching new emails, and one where the system wide search may not work for Mail, Files and Notes.

Release Notes

iOS 13.2.3 includes bug fixes and improvements for your iPhone. This update:
Fixes an issue where system search and search within Mail, Files, and Notes might not work
Addresses an issue where photos, links, and other attachments might not display in the Messages details view
Fixes an issue that could prevent apps from downloading content in the background
Resolves issues that may prevent Mail from fetching new messages, and fail to include and quote original message content in Exchange accounts
