Apple TV app now available on the Nvidia Shield

Apple has now made the Apple TV app available on the Nvidia Shield, a popular streaming and gaming device that has been on sale for a while now and it runs Android TV. The Apple TV app on third party platforms offers users access to Apple TV+ originals, iTunes Store content and Apple TV Channels.

The Apple TV on the Nvidia Shield supports the Google Assistant which is on the device, with users being able to say “OK Google” to find shows and control playback.

Over the past year, Apple has been expanding support of the Apple TV to various models of smart TVs, Roku devices, games consoles and Amazon Fire TV devices. Learn more about how to watch Apple TV+ shows here.
