April Xbox One update released

April Xbox One update released

News from Alex and Ed Gaming

It’s that time again when a new update for the Xbox One comes out and this month is no different as the April update has landed.

For starters the dashboard has a new “What’s On” tab which allows users to look at the latest videos on YouTube and Xbox Video, what games are being played, live Twitch broadcasts and what TV shows are trending on Twitter. The “Whats On” tab is placed between the “Friends” tab and the “Store” tab.

Also in the update is a improvement for party chat and voice messages. Party chat can now let you know of the errors and settings which may be preventing some features from working properly. Lastly achievement notifications have been improved to give more information about it.

The new update started rolling out yesterday.
