GameStop in the US will now temporarily shut its physical retail stores

As of the 22nd March, GameStop in the US will shut down all of its retail stores across the country, in the aid of helping to stop spread the coronavirus. The company will be moving all orders to be delivery only.

“GameStop will close customer access to U.S. storefronts and will process orders on a digital only basis, moving to curbside pick-up at stores and eCommerce delivery only. Company to pay employees whose hours have been eliminated for an additional 2 weeks, and will reimburse one full month of employee benefit contributions”

Naturally, due to the ongoing health crisis there isn’t any information on when GameStop and for that matter other stores will reopen.
