Google says new Nest cameras will launch this year

Google has said the range of Nest cameras will be expanded in 2021, saying “Nest will keep investing in new innovations” and that we will see a “new lineup of security cameras for 2021.” This news comes after the Nest Cam IQ Outdoor has stopped being available.

So far Google is selling the Nest Cam IQ Indoor version as well as the Nest Cam Indoor and the Nest Cam Outdoor, it is only the IQ version which is not available, at least at the time of writing. The Nest Cam product line hasn’t seen a new product since 2017, but Google has said that current cameras will still get updates for new features and security updates.
