The famous iTunes Festival is back this year, but not as you know it. For starters it has a rebrand and is named Apple Music Festival which is helping promote the new streaming service and it has a new format. The show will still be held at the Roundhouse in London and the tickets will still be free. Apple is also reducing the total length of the show down to ten nights as opposed to a full month like last year.

Also, less nights means less acts so Apple has a lot to cram into those ten nights – so far One Direction are playing on September 22, Disclosure on September 25, Pharral Williams on Septmember 26 and Florence and the Machine on September 28.

Something else that is interesting is that Apple is live coverage on Beats 1 for the festival as well as live video streaming of each performance.
