LIFX introduces new ‘LIFX Clean’ range of WiFi light bulbs

A few days ago, LIFX introduced a new line of their WiFi smart light bulbs which can emit germicidal antibacterial light to disinfect the area around the bulb and the surfaces too. LIFX Clean has passed the safety testing it needs to and according to the company, will help get rid of any harmful bacteria.

The new LIFX Clean bulbs come in the original A19 and A60 bulbs and work like any other bulb from LIFX with full colour and white options.

The new range of bulbs will be launching soon in Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Europe with pre ordering taking place on LIFX.com soon starting at $99 AUD / £59.99 UK and $69.99 US – however sales will not be taking place in the US and Canada until the appropriate regulatory requirements are met.

Like any other LIFX bulb, it doesn’t require a separate hub, instead connecting to the WiFi network directly and works with Amazon Alexa, Apple HomeKit and Google Home.
