Another month, another Xbox One update. As we approach the end of April, Microsoft have previewed the next version of the Xbox One software. The main feature of the next version is about SmartGlass which means that users will be able to turn on and off their console from a PC, Windows Phone and Android.

In addition the Xbox One now supports Miracast screen mirroring, which is like Google Cast and AirPlay form Windows 10, Windows Phone 8 and a few Android Phones. Miscast is Microsoft’s wireless display technology and it allows tablets and phones to “cast” photos and videos on the bigger screen.
Also in the May update is some changes for the Windows 10 app. First up is that people on the preview can now stream live TV from a local Xbox to a Windows 10 PC.
