Nintendo sold nearly 3/4 million Switch units last month

The Nintendo Switch, since it was launched back in 2017 as well as the Switch Lite when it was launched at the end of last year have been selling in massive numbers, so far to date the Kyoto based company has sold nearly 70 million units, 68.3 million to be exact and the numbers keep climbing.

The company revealed in its recent earnings repot that it had sold over 735,000 Switch and Switch Lite consoles in the US alone for October 2020 making it extremely high to what it achieved in October 2008 with the Wii, when it sold 807,000 units.

“Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite continue to provide one-of-a-kind gaming experiences on the TV or on the go, allowing holiday shoppers the choice of a video game system that matches their lifestyle. Seeing encouraging sales growth like this in the fourth October of Nintendo Switch proves to us that the system has many more years and great games yet to come.”
