The OnePlus 5 is now available in ‘Soft Gold’

The OnePlus company was only founded a few years ago, a short while back in 2013 the company launched their first phone into the market, it honestly took the smartphone industry by storm.

With consecutive hardware releases from the first introduction of the OnePlus One, in 2014 – the company has gone on to have successful sales, with new models coming out every year, or sometimes more than one model per year.

The latest model from the Chinese based manufacturer, is the OnePlus 5 – a phone which looks pretty similar to the iPhone 7 Plus, as some people have noted.

Just today, OnePlus have announced that the new phone will come in a new colour, dubbed ‘Soft Gold’ it will also come with a white screen for the front of the phone, for the first time on a OnePlus smartphone.

The new phone is available with 6GB RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. Also the company will soon be offering the slate grey phone with the option of 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, something that has only been elusive to the midnight black variant.

Pricing and other specs

The new Soft Gold version of the OnePlus 5 is exactly the same as the other models, which was only unveiled a few months back in June. It’s powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. The battery is a large 3,300mAh offering and just like the iPhone 7 Plus it features a 5.5-inch screen however on the OnePlus 5 it’s a 1080p AMOLED display.

The OnePlus 5 can be purchase from OnePlus directly for $479 in the United States, however UK and other countries are yet unknown. We will update this article once we have some information.
