Stellantis will be going fully electric from 2026 in Europe

Stellantis announced earlier this month its plan for electrifying its lineup here in Europe, with a plan to have all models launched from 2026 onwards to be pure-electric only. Stellantis CEO Carlos Tavares outlined the plan earlier this month and it will have all 14 brands that Stellantis owns becoming EV only in the next few years.

Stellantis will only be selling EVs by the end of this decade and over in the US, 50% of its cars and light commercial vehicles will be electric powered. To do this, the group is planning on launching around 100 new products between now and 2030. Stellantis will also be reinsuring some of its companies, such as Alfa Romeo, DS, Lancia and Maserati. All three of which will be EV only from 2025 onwards.

To compete with Ford and Chevrolet, both of which have upcoming electric pickups, Dodge will be launching its own all electric pick up in 2024.
