The Grand Tour will be back for one more episode next week

We posted an article earlier in the week suggesting that the Mongolia special which aired on Amazon Prime on Friday this week, was the last episode in the current season of the show.

In a self written article for The Radio Times this week, executive producer of the show – Andy Wilman explains this weeks episode and also confirms that there is one more show to come next week, before season 3 ends.

After the Mongolia adventure there will be one more conventional show, the finale for this series. Then we’re pulling down the curtain on the studio-based episodes so that we can just concentrate on big Specials. If Mongolia is anything to go by, we’ll be okay.

He goes on to mention that the Mongolia episode was “Not just the hardest to shoot, but more importantly the hardest in which to keep delivering the goods and satisfying expectations.”
