The new PlayStation 5 starts at £360/$400 and will be available in November

The new PlayStation 5 was announced back in June of this year and at the time, we didn’t know much aside from the design and a rough release date. However yesterday, Sony had a media event and it announced the exact release dates and the prices. The better looking (in our opinion) digital edition is unsurprisingly the less expensive of the two, it is £359.99 in the UK and $399 in the US. The disc edition will be a lot more at £449.99 / $499.

Release date for both, is the 12th November in the US, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and South Korea. 19th November in the UK and other countries. Pre orders are already live in the UK on multiple websites, including Amazon and Argos.
