Top Gear America is back next year

Top Gear US as it was known was shown in the United States from 2010 up until 2016 when it was cancelled, name licensed from the BBC and shown on the History channel it had comedian Adam Ferrera, rally driver Tanner Foust and Nascar commentator Rutledge Wood.

Then a year later, BBC America tried again with Top Gear America it had actor William Fichtner, drag racer Antron Brown and Tom “Wookie” Ford. Tom Ford is a British writer for BBC Top Gear Magazine here in the UK. Once that one off series finished, there was no word if it was canceled or what happened to it.

Now in 2019, there is at least some news on what is planned for Top Gear America next, MotorTrend have picked up the series and there are three new hosts to go along with it. actor and car nut, Dax Shepard, actor and comedian Rob Corddry and British motoring journalist, Jethro Bovingdon.

Top Gear America will be back in spring 2020 on the MotorTrend app.
