Ubiquiti AmpliFi Alien now on sale via the Apple Retail Store in the US

This week, Apple has started to offer the Ubiquiti AmpliFi Alien on its online retail store in the US. The router was launched back in 2019 and has only recently gained official HomeKit support this year. Ubiquiti is best known for its cooperate wireless, routing and switching with UniFi and its core roots with WISP applications, with airFiber and airMAX. AmpliFi is a sub-brand operated under UI Labs and has has projects with FrontRow, a wearable camera as well as other AmpliFi products, mainly focused on the home WiFi market.

The news about being added to the Apple Store came from Murphy Nadauld on LinkedIn, who works at Ubiquiti and posted the news this week.

The AmpliFi Alien retails for $699.95 and comes in a pack of two, one main router as well as a MeshPoint Range Extender. It features HomeKit, 802.11ax WiFi 6, touchscreen for viewing stats and enabling guest WiFi and more. On the back are four gigabit ethernet ports for LAN connectivity as well as a WAN port on the base of the unit.

The AmpliFi Alien can be found here on the Apple Online Store. It is only available in the US at the time of writing.
