Ubiquiti has today introduced the new UISP Box, a simple outdoor enclosure designed for both the UISP Switch and the UISP Router. The UISP Box allows WISP operators to mount a switch or router high up out of the way, closer to the wireless antennas, while having power reliably fed to the unit. The Power TransPort connector features a passthrough port, bringing the connector out the front, where it can be fanned out to a UISP Power UPS, or direct into the mains power.

Ubiquiti says the UISP Box is IPX6 water resistant and can be mounted on a wall, or pole with the mounting hardware required included in the box.

The UISP Box is compatible with the UISP Switch and UISP Router only and is on sale now in the US, EU and UK via the official Ubiquiti Store. Priced at $59 in the US, £57.58 in the UK and €66 in the EU.
