Volkswagen’s entry level ID.3 is now on sale in the UK

Today, Volkswagen has put the new ID.3 Pro on sale priced at £28,670 after the government grant, sitting at the entry level of the range. The Pro moniker refers to the electric motor, available on the Life, Business and Family trim levels and sits just underneath the Pro Performance motor option. The Pro Performance is priced at £29,990, with the government grant.

Understandably, the Pro version has less power than the Pro Performance, but the range is staying the same, at 263 miles WLTP. This model has 143bhp, 199ft of torque and can do 0-60mph in 9.6 seconds. The Pro also supports 100kW fast charging over CCS, which can charge from 0% to 80% in 35 minutes.

ID.3 Life Pro as standard coms with a 10-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay support, Bluetooth, DAB as well as electric folding mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, heated seats and heated steering wheel. Interior is plain black in this model.

Other models include, Life Pro Performance at £29,990 all the way up to the Tour Pro Performance at £39,290 with 336 miles of range.

Volkswagen has said first versions the ID.3 Pro will be coming to the UK at the end of February.
