Xbox One now handles YouTube HDR videos

Xbox One now handles YouTube HDR videos

On the last gen Xbox One S and One X, YouTube in HDR is now supported, this also adds support for the new Xbox models, if you have managed to snag one. This isn’t the first time any HDR content has been supported on the Xbox One, for a long time Netflix and Prime Video have supported.

YouTube in HDR on Xbox is something that has been talked about by Microsoft for four years, back in 2017.

HDR allows for bighter videos and darker videos, essentially widening the range. Xbox Series X support HDR at 4K at 60fps and the older Xbox One S at 1440p at 60fps.
