Apple sold more smartphones last quarter than every other manufacturer

Apple sold more smartphones last quarter than every other manufacturer

This week, Apple released its Q4 earnings and it is now safe to say it was a good quarter as Apple has now become the top selling smartphone manufacturer. According to Strategy Analytics, Apple has now overtaken Samsung to become the top selling smartphone manufacturer and now has a 18.9% hold of the total smartphone market. This quarter has been a good one, mostly thanks to the less expensive iPhone 11 being so popular.

And while Apple’s shipments and profits have grown, Samsung on the other hand has seen a big drop in profits during Q4 and its overall smartphone shipments have been decreasing.
