Top Gear is back soon and the ‘studio segment’ will be recorded outside

The last series of Top Gear ended back in March this year right before all the lockdown started but the boys have been busy recording series 29 over the past few months, Paddy McGuiness made the news when he crashed that Lamborghini in Yorkshire and that has been confirmed to be in the show.

As social distancing is very important at the moment, the show has decided to not record the studio segments in the studio, for obvious reasons. Instead it’s out on the track in front of one of the planes with the audience seated in their cars, with 400 people watching at 160 cars.

The new season will consist of five episodes this time, a bit shorter than usual and it’ll be coming soon to BBC One with Chris Harris, Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff.
