Back in October we reported that a refreshed Genesis GV60 was spotted in South Korea during its testing during 2024, the new car was then officially announced in January 2025 and then went on sale in South Korea in March.
Now, a few months later Genesis has announced the new car for the UK and European markets and it'll be going on sale on the 1st July. Prices are yet to be announced, but considering th current GV60 starts at £54,115, it should be around this figure.
What has changed?
The exterior hasn't changed a whole lot, but the front bumper is now more aerodynamic, the grille is less pronounced and the side air-intakes are now more pronounced. Just above the grille is a small pill shaped sensor, which was a triangle in the outgoing model. The black plastic wheel arches have also been removed, in favour of body coloured ones, making the whole car look more cohesive.
Genesis has also added a much more advanced headlight setup, which it has borrowed from its flagship G90 saloon. This system, called 'Micro Lens Array' offers better performance and control over the lights.
The company has also added a new range of alloy wheel designs and colours, such as Tromso Green which is pictured above.

Inside, Genesis has taken inspiration from its new range of G80 and GV70 electric models, both of which have also been refreshed lately. There is a brand new wide 27-inch screen, which replaces the two separate 12.3-inch screens from before and a new steering wheel which is more chunky and has a flat bottom. This replaces the round wheel seen on the outgoing car.
The big change is to the battery, as the new GV60 has the same 84kWh battery found in the latest Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6. This replaces the 77.4kWh unit found in the last generation and offers 348 miles of range, up from 321 miles. Exact charging speed is not yet known, but 10-80% takes just 18 minutes on a 350kW charger.
At the moment, the exact specifications, trims and pricing are not yet known for the UK, but orders open on 1st July so more information will be available then.
