Disney is raising prices for Disney+

This week, Disney announced that prices for Disney+ are being increased marginally, starting from March 2021. Here in the UK the prices per month will be £7.99, an increase from £5.99, in the US it’s going up from $6.99 to $7.99 and in the rest ofEurope, up from €6.99 to €8.99.

In the US, Disney also offers Disney+, Hulu and ESPN Bundled in to one fee, this is now up from $12.99 to $13.99 per month.

The main reason for the price increase is that Disney is planning on doubling the amount of content it offers, with more Star Wars, Pixar and Marvel films and specials coming soon. Disney has said that over the “next few years”, 10 new Star Wars series will be added, 15 new live action Disney films and 10 new Marvel series. As well as new Pixar series too.
