Ford Mustang Mach 1 now on sale in the UK

This week, Ford has put the new Mustang Mach 1 on sale here in the UK, with prices starting at £55,185. The Mach 1 features the same 5.0-litre V8 as the normal Mustang, but now with 454bhp and 390lb ft torque. On the outside, Ford has changed the front end with more efficient aerodynamics, retro lights and new air intakes. As well as the changes to the underneath of the car, the new Mach 1 car has 22% more downforce than the Mustang GT.

Also changed are the new mirror caps, spoiler and retro font for the Mach 1 badge on the back.

Ford is also offering a six speed manual gearbox with the Mach 1 for the first time in the UK. There is an option to upgrade this to the 10-speed automatic for an extra £2,000.
