Ubiquiti announces stacking for multiple UNVR devices

Today, during its latest ‘Ubiquiti Insider’ video, Ubiquiti revealed that very soon UNVR stacking is coming soon for the UniFi Protect UNVR. Currently, if you need more than around 50 cameras on one deployment using UniFi Protect, you would either need to use a different brand of cameras or get two or more UNVR units. The big downside to this is having to change interfaces every time you need to access a different set of cameras.

For years, the Ubiquiti has been asking for the ability to stack multiple UNVR units together in order to increase the amount of cameras and retention you can use in one space. Ubiquiti has said the feature will be available to early access users later in May, then should make its way to general release soon thereafter.
