Ford reveals pricing for new E-Transit Custom in the UK, starting from £52k

Ford has recently updated its list for the new E-Transit Custom pricing in the UK which has now included the initial specs and release dates for the all electric model. The new Transit Custom has recently gone on sale in the UK, with prices for the base spec ‘Leader’ trim starting at £38,820 (£32,350 exc.VAT). For that you get a 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine with 110PS (108bhp) and a 6 speed manual gearbox. There is also the option of a 136PS (134bhp) of that model. Moving on up in the lineup you can also spec a 8-speed automatic and then also a plug-in-hybrid with a 2.5L Duratec petrol engine with 232PS (228bhp).

The E-Transit Custom was initially revealed back in May 2022.

The one we are going to focus on here is the new full electric E-Transit Custom. For now on the price list it has the release date of summer 2024 mentioned, which is when the first deliveries are to take place. The models are split up into Wave 1, Wave 2 and Wave 3. Wave 1 is from November 2023, Wave 2 from March 2024 and Wave 3 is from July 2024. Fully electric models are listed separately as summer 2024.

The new E-Transit Custom is only available on the Trend and Limited trim, the base Leader trim is restricted to diesel with a manual gearbox only. The base model E-Transit Custom has a 82.5kWh battery pack (65kWh usable) with 100kw / 136PS 134bhp of power. That model is priced from £52,056 (£43,380 exc.VAT). In the Sport trim level, Ford will also offer a more powerful motor, with the same battery size but with 160kw / 218PS / 215bhp of power. That model is priced from £58,464 (£48,720 exc.VAT).

In Wave 3, July 2024 the E-Transit Custom will also come in a higher roof option.

All models have as standard Ford SYNC 4 with support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well as over the air updates.
