This is a 53 billion pixel image of a Bentley

In a recent promotional stunt and technical exercise by Bentley, the car company created this 53 gigapixel (53 billion pixels) image of the new Bentley Mulsanne, but this looks like just an image of the Golden Gate bridge but if you zoom in far enough you can actually see the car, driver and the stitching on the passenger seat.

Zoom in so far and you’ll see this…

To create this image, Bentley teamed up with Nasa to use their gigapixel cameras which is the same technology used to capture images from the Mars Curiosity Rovers. The image taken by the camera is actually 70 high-resolution photos complied together to create this gigantic image.

Zoom in as far as you can and you’ll see the Bentley logo embroidered on the passenger seat

The image if printed would cover an entire football field at its full resolution and to do this Nasa used this camera to capture the Bentley Mulssane.

This stunt was to promote the brand new Bentley Mulsanne which now has a wider wheelbase at 3,516 which Bentley is saying offers a much smoother ride.

What do you think of this achievement? Let us know in the comments.
