Apple launches new limited edition Watch to celebrate Black History Month

Yesterday, Apple announced that it is celebrating Black History Month with a new limited edition Apple Watch Series 6, as well as highlighting apps, artists, creators and more from black creators.

The new watch has “Black Unity” engraved in on the base as well as coming with a matching sport band. A new watch face is also being added with watchOS 7.3 with has the colours of the Pan-African flag.

The new Apple Watch will be available from 1st February 2021 starting at $399 in the US as well as 38 other countries. Apple has said that the Apple Watch will only be on sale in February, but the sport band will be available throughout 2021, priced at $49.
